Steps the HUD aside while the game's own loading screen is up, and draws the OPX cover over loads that happen in play.
Teleports, lift rides and respawns put the game's loading screen up. This module reads that state and does two things: it hides the HUD-like views (gauges, key strip, toasts, eye, name tags, chat log, call hologram, slot bar, progress bar) for as long as the load lasts, and it draws a branded cover (the join screen's film or poster, with a progress bar when the platform knows the progress). The join itself never gets the cover: the connection screen belongs to the platform.

Needs an updated client
It reads Open77.screen.loadingState, which arrived after Open77 build op77.78 (and is not in the devkit catalogue). On an older client the module writes one line in the player's log, stops, and every view keeps its own visibility. A client with only Open77.screen.isLoading gets the hide and the cover, but no progress.
- Views are hidden, never switched off: each comes back exactly as its module left it, and a HUD the player turned off stays off.
- The cover goes up only after
COVER.DELAY_MS, so a blink of a load shows nothing. The percentage stops at 99; the cover closes when the load ends. - While idle a pass costs one host read and sends nothing to the page.
Configuration
config/loading.lua sets OPX.Config.MODULES.loading. Shared script.
OPX.Config.MODULES.loading = {
enabled = true,
HIDE_HUD = true,
COVER = { ENABLED = true, VIDEO = false, DELAY_MS = 400 }, -- poster only, later
POLL_MS = 200,
}Journal lines
All on the player's client log.

[loading] this client has no Open77.screen.loadingState; … | Older client. Harmless; update the client to get the hide and the cover. |
[loading] reading the native loading lifecycle through isLoading (no progress, no kind) | Partial support: no progress bar. |
[loading] the loading state was refused: permission_denied | screen.read is missing from open77.lua. The module stops and files an OPX.Note. |
